We used Thoughtful Home Care when we were in a desperate time of need with my father. My father was being discharged after being hospitalized for a month and we needed a set of hands and eyes on him 24/7. Our experience started with Gleira who showed up at the hospital upon discharge to assist with training on how to maneuver and care for my dad. Gleira then was at our house with our first caregiver to make sure she knew what to do. Communication was great with the owner Deborah as well as scheduling with Lynette. Any time we needed a change in caregivers for any reason, it was done without pushback. Some of the caregivers worth mentioning that were absolutely phenomenal with my dad and family were: Charlene S, April S, Sandra L, Aeron L, Francis L, Rosemarie P. There were many other great ones, but the ones mentioned here became family and you truly felt that they cared about my dad. It’s never easy having strangers in your house but we knew the care was needed for myself and siblings to be able to rest at night knowing my dad was being watched and cared for. What made it easier was having cameras in the house so we knew what was going on at all times of the day while we couldn’t be there. Thank you Thoughtful Home Care for everything!

Thoughtful Home Care were amazing in not only supporting my Mother In-law during her transition but being there for our family as well. They were always making sure she was comfortable. They would do just about anything to keep her comfortable. Whether adjusting her position, applying lotion, making her a meal or just having conversation with her. Claudia, Charlene, Sandra, Renee and Elizabeth were all amazing. They also supported our family as well with their kindness and understanding of what we were all going through. They were with us until she passed away and we will be forever grateful. We have made lifelong friends and could not have gone through the process without them.

We knew my dad needed some help with my mom but since the idea of a caregiver was so new to all of us there was a lot of apprehension! Deborah at Thoughtful reach out to us, had a very easy conversation with her, answered our questions and now we have someone come into the home to give my dad a break and be a nice companion for my mom. My mom’s caregiver is fabulous and they look forward to her coming every week. The person who schedules is very good at keeping me in the loop if the caregiver is running late or can’t make it, then offers someone else to fill in. It’s the best decision we could have made for my parents and it gives me peace of mind if I’m out of town that someone is there with them!
